Life Designer Sian Jaquet and Project Manager Gez Johns help people to change their lives, by changing their home environment in The Big Stuff, the series that screened Thursdays at 7.30pm on TV3. The duo have just five days to save a family or couple from drowning in their own possessions and turn their house into the home they’ve always wanted.
But it’s not just about the family’s stuff, it’s about them. What are the issues behind the chaos? And what’s preventing them from moving forward with their lives?
“It’s not often you get to be part of a journey where people are quite literally changing their lives in 5 days. I love my job,” Sian says.
“We’ve all been there and the issues these families have been brave enough to share with us are happening in all of our homes,” she says. “It will make you laugh, it will make you cry and sometimes, you will possibly even recognise yourself.”
The Big Stuff explores more about the issues behind the chaos. “By the end of each episode viewers will have something to take away so they can start sorting the big stuff in their lives.”
Find out in a series that’s part life design, part house design. The Big Stuff will inspire you to look below the surface and tackle the BIG issues.
